Sing to Beat Training in Jersey

Share this post:

The Sing to Beat Parkinson’s training team were invited to deliver a one day training workshop to some of the Parkinson’s community in Jersey. The initiative was developed by Nicki Kennedy, who runs Sparky Parkies, operated by local charity Aureole Music and the island’s only singing group for people with Parkinson’s.

18 people attended some or all of the day’s training, and we are delighted that Sparky Parkies has become the latest addition to the Sing to Beat Parkinson’s network. We received some wonderful feedback from participants about how illuminating, informative and engaging the event was, and we look forward to receiving some of the participants to our 2027 residential training course in Folkestone.
