What We Do

Our highly skilled team of facilitators run regular singing groups for People with Parkinson’s. Carers, volunteers and family members are welcome to participate and often provide an extra level of care and energy to sessions. A high-energy approach has been developed that includes action and movement, and participants are encouraged to sing from memory, which results in better engagement with each other and the facilitator. The overall emphasis is on relationship, the importance of each individual to the group, and caring for each other through singing.

Members from various groups have showcased their singing in a variety of settings, including academic conferences focusing on music and health, and have taken part in a short film created by ITN
